Ruina

Background: Aliens invading earth for its natural resources. The two main alien forces are the Ulgor and the Rakshi's, both from the same homeland. In their homeland Planet: Oculus, there was already war between the two sides. First to arrive are the Ulgor, with the goal of taking all of earth's natural resources. Doing so would mean the key to their victory at home. The Rakshis came not so long after, only 5 years apart. However their goal is different from the Ulgor who wanted resources. They came simply to stop the Ulgor from getting the resource advantages over them, making them harmless to humans. They believe that no civilization should be conquered by another, and that extracting all the natural resource on a planet is the greatest sin for any civilization.

The human race was almost extinct by the ulgor. If it weren't for the Rakshi who arrived 5 years after, there wouldn't be any life left on earth.
With a show of kindess yet pity, the Rakshi promised to protect the humans and their planet as long as they can.
Originally their goal was only to fight off the Ulgor, but now they have to protect the living beings on Earth as well - it will be more difficult.
Using their new opportunity, they humans gathered and started building a city which later is named "Fortuna." Setting their differences aside, they formed a single nation representing earth.
They had also promised to fight the Ulgor together with the Rakshi - whether it be on Earth or Oculus, it's the least they can do for their savior.

With the help of the Rakshi who shared their knowledge about their technology, the humans focus on harnessing and expanding of what they had learned.
Although it's not close to Ulgor, it's still a technology thousands of years ahead of their time.

Their Planet - Oculus
A planet much smaller than Earth with two stars, there's only 2 civilization - The Ulgor and the Rakshi. They were meant to collide sooner and later, one wish to expand and conquer - the other wants to protect what they have. Half of the planet is beautifully covered with exotic plants and animals while the other is the complete opposite. The Ulgor have a single city spanning hundreds of miles across filled with great buildings and all are connected by many roads - on the ground, underground, and even on the sky.

Ulgor - A race that has unparalleled technology compared to the humans, it's tens or even hundreds of thousands of years ahead of the humans. In fact, they invade earth and fight the rakshi's without even being there. They are a race so advanced that they use entirely robots/mechs for warfare. They don't pilot or use controllers at all, they have managed to put their conscious in their creations because the ultimate controller for a robot - is being the robot. Their original body is gone, but what they gained in return are worth it. Hunger, pain, fear,fatigue, and aging, all of these are gone. The only drawback is that every month they have to recharge their core (battery?) at their station in order to keep the body functional. A quick "rest" if you can all it that.

Rakshi - A humanoid feline race, about 7 feet tall. unlike their opponent the Ulgor, they represent physical strength. If the average man can bench-press 120 lbs, the average male Rakshi can bench at least 1,000 lbs. They have great instincts and reflexes, and are incredibly fast  They are loved by nature because they treat every life equally and only take what they need and no more than that. Half of their body is covered by an extra layer of protection called "Barkskin." It is harder than steel and can camouflage with their environment. They aren't technologically advanced overall like the Ulgor, but they do have access to create devastating melee weapons.
